MULTAKA FOUNDATION

” TEN YEAR OF GIVING, FIVE HUNDRED YEARS OF LIFE “

WHO WE ARE

A non-profit organization composed of a group of volunteer men and women in the hometown and abroad. Our Multaka foundation was established in 2013 and registered under resolution number 1822 in 2022. The headquarters of the foundation is located in the village of Mashta Al-Helou in Tartous Governorate in Syria. We seek to support cultural work and social services in our town, Mashta Al Helou, and to establish a new generation of inhabitants, who embraces culture, awareness and national belonging.

Our story

Founded during the dark times of the civil war, the Multaka Foundation was created to support the development of young people living in the town and surrounding region. Starting life as a small youth centre in the town, it has grown and blossomed into a large foundation (more than 50 volunteers), with a multi-faceted support structure and many supporters and followers globally.

Our Purpose

We exist to help the inhabitants of Meshta Helou and the surrounding region to survive, develop and thrive

Our Mission

is to promote environmental, cultural, educational & human activities to offer better life to our community. Additionally we stand ready to assist and uplift our community during crises

OUR ACTIVITIES

With the help of an international donations and logistics structure, we carry out a lot of activities such as:

  • Environmental activities: We support the local infrastructure and city, with topics such as fire-fighting, rubbish collection, afforestation and clean-up campaigns.
  • Educational activities: We support local schools, with teaching materials, schoolbags. We arrange lectures, language courses and honor outstanding students.
  • Cultural activities: such as music, sports, drawing and acting
  • Humanitarian activities: we support local residents with critical needs, such as medicine and food. We also support in crises, such as war and flooding.

OUR EVENTS

We regularly arrange local cultural events, such as annual Delbeh festival, which has been taking place for more than 10 years, in addition to the Eid Al-Karakah, Al-Harira and the Christmas Bazaar

MULTAKA FOUDATION

During the difficult time of war and pain, crowd of ugly thoughts and broken hearts, the young that have been displaced or have migrated, the souls that have gone or said goodbye..a white rose has miraculously blossomed between rocks, to make her way strongly and hardly, but nothing will stand in the way of her strong will, her determination, her love, her beauty and her hope.
